Selon plusieurs sources, dont l'ex-batteur de Dark Funeral Matte Modin sur sa page Facebook et le site www.deathmetal.org , le guitariste / bassiste suédois David Parland, alias Blackmoon, serait décédé le 19 mars à 42 ans.Dark Funeral entre 1993 et 1996, mais il a surtout formé les groupes Necrophobic , Infernal et War .
